Web designing mistakes

There are some common mistakes which are usually made while designing a website. If the web designer gets rid of these mistakes his website may be more effective and appealing and more visitors would be attracted to visit the site. One of the major mistakes is adding to much text which is not much effective it rather irritates the user and he might close the website which is not good. The text added should be brief so that the user may get what the website is all about in just a glance.
Overusing of flash is also a mistake; by doing this the one who visits the site may not attend towards the text. Such a site may not be able to provide much information about what you want to describe and hence your website may be of no use to him. Lot of flash usage may also slow down the loading of website which is not a good sign and depicts unprofessionalism. The website must also be easy to navigate so that it is easy for the user to search whatever he wants and whenever he wants. If it is easy for the user to navigate between pages of the site he may stick to the site and will show interest in the content of the site.
The links available on the site must be easily visible so that it is easy to go to them. The pages of the website must not be so long as long pages usually make the user bore and he may not have interest in website. Spelling mistakes is also a common problem which might change the meaning of the whole sentence and will be ridiculous and will show the inexperience of the web designer. Web design should avoid unnecessary registrations as users will not waste their time filling long forms which are of not use.
